Local cyclist, Jill Krause, was hit by a car in mid October of 2007.  Jill was hit when going straight in front of Rocky River High School when the motorist was making a left hand turn and ran her over.  While EMS was attending to her someone came along and stole the wheel off her bike. 

Since her accident Jill has had to endure several surgeries including one as recent as February 19^th.  She is expected to have a long road to recovery and has had to incur a large amount of medical expenses.  A fund has been set up at Fifth Third Bank in her name and donations can be made at any Fifth Third location.
